Admit it or not, the first impression customers and competitors get about your business and company is through the website. Observe it yourself and analyze would you be impressed with any unattractive or flat brochure, which seem impersonal and uninviting? The answer is NO. Obviously because we all want to see a personalized, appealing and engaging invitation a company offers at the first place.

Surely, every online business owner seeks to generate more and more leads to attain the targeted goals for company. And to do this successfully, a responsive website is needed. In this article, we will discuss significance of responsive website that will help us understand that why people prefer having a responsive website design?

Today, the most crucial yet significant way to reach target audience is via mobile phones and other handy gadgets like tablets, iPods etc. A responsive website can effectively run across several devices and more than 40% traffic is being generated through mobile devices. And a responsive website is the strongest method of engaging audience on their phones and other devices. Also, a responsive website design is made with CSS3 and technology like HTML5, thus, no other technologies are needed.

It is a realistic fact, if someone finds any difficulty while visiting the website; he/she may never visit the site again. However, if the same user finds it easier to access the website from any device, then automatically he/she will switch from competitors to your customer and it will increase sales and conversion rates.

A responsive website strengthens the functioning of analytics and reporting. Now Google analytics handle responsive reporting and it allows easy monitoring of users’ journey, redirections and conversion paths between your website. Additionally, when a website designis made mobile friendly through traditional approach, it utilizes more time and money. However, with a responsive website mobile site development becomes easy, less time and money consuming.

Notably, everyone wants to increase visibility of the website in search engine. And, a responsive website is one single set of hypertext links; that focuses on SEO strategy. SEO campaigns are often time consuming, but a responsive website design minimizes time and efforts both by focusing on a single site along with strategies that are compatible across devices.

Most importantly, a responsive website design keeps you on the top of the current trend as you can conveniently meet the demands of media rich mobile applications. Plus, various other implications are addressed along with development, cost maintenance, better sales and improved visibility in search engine.

This is a useful post for finding broken links within the website, what about links pointing outwards that are broken? I can use a free web service but wondered if this was possible.

Great tool! I am using a redirect plugin to send all my 404’s to my home page but I think it’s slacking sometimes. I noticed that some other sites have taken over my 404’s somehow.
